TYPES OF SUSHI IN JAPAN

Maki: The Maki is the typical Sushi rolled in Nori Seaweed . The base of all Maki is glutinous rice with fresh fish, shellfish or vegetables.
Futomaki: It is a type of Maki but much larger.
Uromaki: In this case the base is just the opposite of a typical Maki . The rice is what wraps the Nori Seaweed with the fish, shellfish or vegetable.
Nigirizushi: It is the most popular version among the Japanese. In this case, the presentation consists of the typical rice ball with a piece of fish or shellfish on it.
Oshizushi: The Oshizushi differ from the Nigirizushi by its rectangular shape.
